All Tantalus creations are designed and handmade by Shawn Ellis in his workshop on the banks of the James River in Tidewater Virginia. Shawn is an aficionado of fine spirits who believes great bottles are meant to be shared with friends. Your Tantalus creation is unique. Whether made from reclaimed oak bourbon barrel staves or other hardwoods, differences in color and shape have been chosen and matched by hand. We will work with you to create a display worthy of your prized spirits.
